We are actively seeking a Specialist to work with both EHS&E and Continuous Improvement Activities in our facility in Wautoma, WI. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies for environmental, health and safety. Additionally, you will assist with implementation of manufacturing process improvements aligned with continuous improvement, including identifying opportunities for cost reduction, lead-time reduction, inventory reduction and quality improvement.
* Design, develop, implement and oversee the organization's environmental, health and safety programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities and to ensure that all facilities are in compliance with regulations.
* Investigate accidents, develop recommendations and follow-up to prevent accident recurrence, and promote safety conscious work performance and training programs applicable to the plant's policies and processes.
* Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements.
* Work closely with Operations and functional teams to identify process bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis and implement process improvements across the business.
* Coach project teams to fulfill certification requirements, quality and process improvement objectives. Initiate and lead projects that improve end-to-end processes: setup, validation, and audit measurement systems to deliver business impact.
* Conduct safety audits, studies and investigations to ensure compliance with government safety and health laws, standards and regulations, and industrial hygiene.
* Other duties as assigned.
The annual salary for this role is $63,375-$92,950 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
The qualified candidate will have:
* Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
* 2 or more years of EHSE and/or continuous improvement experience
* In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, Associates degree and 5 or more years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 7 or more years of experience will be considered.
