The Department of Nursing at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time TH Clinical Technical Service EKG Associate, Float Team. The successful candidate will:
* Perform electrocardiograph diagnostic testing.
* Provide computerized recording for the physician review.
* Conduct cardiac monitoring on adult population.
* Practice effective infection control measures.
* Respond to the changing needs of patient care areas.
* Obtain, record, and exchange information on behalf of the patient.
* Plan appropriately to meet clinic objectives and take initiatives where necessary.
* Take an active role in managing resources.
* Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
* Participate in Quality improvement activities.
* Participate in personal/professional development.
Required Qualifications:
* EKG and/or ECG and Phlebotomy Certification.
* 2+ years of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Completion of Medical Assistant Certification Program.
Work Schedule:
Variable Days; 7:30am to 8:00pm (Full-Time)

Commensurate with experience and qualifications
