Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Electric Motor Winders for projects located in and around Chesapeake, VA. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $25/hour based on experience & skill level. Job Scope:

• Rewind 3 phase form coil & random wound stators
• Rewind DC armatures & fields
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Rewinding 3 Phase Form Coil & Random Wound Stators
• Knowledge of Rewinding DC Armatures & Fields
• Familiarity with Electrical Test Equipment; surge tester, low resistance bridge, multimeter, megohmmeter, ampmeter, voltmeter
• Familiarity with Electrical Tests; surge test, hipot test, checking polarity & resistance on windings, taking megger readings
• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• Hand Tools
• Excellent Verbal & Written Communication Skills
• Ability to lift & carry up to 50lbs
• Drug Screen & Background Check
• Ability to work OT as needed
