We are seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Project Engineer to work with one of our major clients, a global chemicals business, in a permanent direct-hire role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical and instrumentation engineering in a chemical facility environment.
- Responsible for electrical and instrumentation design specifications.
- Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Evaluate proposals, and manage the engineering, purchasing, and construction of electrical and instrumentation work.
- Inspect, review, and administer work performed by electrical and instrument contractors for performance, quality, operability, and cost.
- Perform cost estimates and preliminary engineering for proposed projects.
Essential Requirements:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, or related areas.
- Industry experience with power systems, instrumentation and automation systems.
- Be located in the Greater Houston area and open to an on-site position.
