Are you with us?!?Purpose of the job:This position will be a hands-on leader, supervising the Electrical and Instrumentation employees in both the pulp and paper mill. The candidate will assist with troubleshooting equipment issues, improving equipment reliability, and ensuring the safety of personnel involved in electrical repairs. Requirements:
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Formal electrical apprenticeship or equivalent required.
- Degree in electrical engineering preferred.
- Additional education in GE DC300 drives, AB and GE PLCs, Delta-V and Bailey DCS systems and industrial power distribution is beneficial.
Five or more years working in a manufacturing environment. Paper industry experience preferred.Electrical Supervisor's responsibilities including the following:
- Must follow Ahlstrom-Munksj's manufacturing and hygiene processes, procedures and policies, as applicable, to the position's areas of responsibility, in order to meet and maintain the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements for each grade of paper.
- Responsible for a variety of electrical duties including safety training, failure analysis, design improvements, NEC code interpretations, NFPA 70, PLC, DCS and drive programming, and project management.
- Problem solving out legacy rework to improve first time right of the E&I Team.
- Primary responsibility for leading electrical/instrumentation crew to maximize the productivity of the E&I team in support of the Paper Mill Productivity Goals.
- Manage daily work backlogs and coordinate/schedule daily and shutdown work to maximize E/I team efficiencies.
- Responsible for developing new team skills through training, failure analysis, design improvements, NEC code interpretations, NFPA 70, PLC, DCS and drive programming, and project management.
