Job Description:
Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Technology, preferredTwo (2) years of on-the-job experience or equivalent educationStrong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation maintenance and repairFamiliar with computerized maintenance management systemsRequires analytical and problem-solving skills to be applied in design and troubleshooting work Preferred Qualifications: Ability to follow oral and written instructions including operating manuals, procedures, and policiesStrong organizational competencies and an attention to detailExperience troubleshooting electrical and instrument control systems and maintenance support equipmentExperience reading technical drawings and schematics Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCs, process controls, electrical and pneumatic equipmentPerform emergency maintenance on failed equipmentCalibrate, configure, and repair measurement/controls instruments flow, levels, pressure, temperature, and pH including associated valves and valve actuatorsAssist with the shutdown and startup of equipment on projectsAdhere to all OSHA and National Electrical Safety Code regulations and proceduresReplace and repair parts, rewire, and install related instrument and electrical items including conduit and wiringPreventative and proactive electrical tasks and compliance proceduresInform management of any instrument or electrical parts needed and assist with maintaining the required instrument/electronic/electrical parts inventoriesInstallation of new equipment WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU We offer competitive wages with overtime pay for any hours over 40 in a work week.
