Our client is looking for an engineer who can support our sales force with a new electric compressor for GM and other car manufacturers. This person will have an electrical engineering degree and will have a year or two of experience. They have a technical expert engineer coming from Japan to also help support this effort. They would like this position to be trained by their Japanese counterpart so that when the Japanese expert returns to Japan, they'll have their own expert. Obviously, this is someone who needs to have a certain level of polish for customer meetings. You'll need to be comfortable presenting technical information in a simple, easy to understand manner. You need to be comfortable in hands on situations and very comfortable with diversity. There will be some domestic travel to visit customers primarily in the Midwest.Salary range is $70 - $80k + vacation time, benefits, 401k, and so on.
