Electrical Apprentice - ResidentialWest Mechanical has been serving the greater Bellingham and surrounding area for over 40 years.We are adding an Electrical Apprentice to the Team!BENEFITS:* Highly competitive wages* Health, Dental and Vision insurance - 100% paid for the employee by the employer* PTO- This is based on hours worked .25 multiplier per hour/52 hours* Paid Holidays New Years, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day* 401 k - After 1 year eligible up to 4% match* Direct DepositWork Hours: 8am to 5pmPay Rate: $22.00/hr.-$25.00/hr.- Depending on ExperienceRequired Qualifications* Ability to pass background check and Motor Vehicle Record check* Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals* Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools* Ability to understand wiring diagrams, motors, transformers* High school diploma or equivalent preferred* Must be able to lift 25 lbs.* Must be able to be on your feet / knees for extended periods of time.* Must be able to work in crawl spaces and attics for periods of time.Primary Job Duties* Install and repair standby generators* Perform routine maintenance* Troubleshoot new circuits and panel changes* Adhere to all quality and safety codes
