Key Responsibilities and Priorities:
- Layout, Assemble, and Inspect cable and wire harnesses.
- Assembly of electro-mechanical products consisting of small motors, sensors, and circuit boards.
- Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports.
- Adept at cutting wires to specified lengths utilizing Wire/Cable Cutting and Stripping Hand Tools.
- Utilize hand-crimping tools for standard terminal contacts (Molex, Amphenol, etc.)
- Conduct functional and/or continuity tests of electrical assemblies, components, and wire harness using an ohmmeter or other electrical testing instrument.
- Document and Report all Electrical Kits per Assembly Test Procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Route, lace, heat shrink and terminate wiring per drawings and instructions.
- Ability to use a soldering gun and basic electrical hand tools.
- Lacing of wiring bundles.
- Print and accurately label multiple wires of a harness including using heat shrink type.
- Set up and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
- Understand and follow all safety policies, codes, and procedures.
