- Read, comprehend, and interpret wiring diagrams.
- Wire barrel and screw cooling trays, panels, motors, heater bands, and other subassemblies to machine.
- Set the department / area standards in housekeeping, attendance, and teamwork by example.
- Communicate any discrepancies or errors on prints, materials list etc.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Recognize problems during assembly, take appropriate corrective action to resolve them.
- Produce quality work in a time frame that meets the expectation of the Team/Group Leads.
- Complete Lockout / Tag out training using all required items when performing Lockout.
- Work safely and in an environmentally responsible manner.
Basic Qualifications: - Must be at least 18 years of age
- Demonstrate personal leadership; actively participate in or lead problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. 3 to 5 years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrate flexibility when confronted with high stress / emergency situations, priority changes, or new assignments.
- Recognize problems with electrical designs and parts, take appropriate corrective action to resolve them.
Preferred qualifications: - Recommend improvements for work area, products, and processes. Perform prototype work with limited Engineering and minimal supervision.
