Immediate opening for an Electrical Assembly Technician in the Dayton, OH area!   • Assembly of Electrical Components: Assemble electrical systems, wiring, circuit boards, control panels, and other components according to engineering diagrams and specifications.
  • Wiring and Cabling: Install and connect wires, cables, and electrical parts while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Perform routine tests on assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards; troubleshoot and repair any issues.
  • Reading Technical Schematics: Follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for accurate assembly.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and verify the accuracy of assembly work and finished products.
  • Maintenance of Tools and Equipment: Maintain assembly tools and equipment in good working condition and follow proper storage and handling procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, production teams, and quality control to ensure seamless production flow and timely completion of projects.
  • Compliance with Safety Standards: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in electrical assembly or a similar role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical systems or related field preferred.
  • Many years of hands-on experience in electrical assembly or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and wiring.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools used in electrical assembly.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical safety codes and regulations.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
  • Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.
