Work with Systems Engineer to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the control system including field communication equipment and support for system configuration. Complete specific improvement projects as assigned by the supervisor.Individual accountabilities* Perform all electrical repair work, preventative maintenance, and emergency call-out tasks on plant electrical equipment while always maintaining code regulations, good craftsmanship, quality, and professionalism.* Ensure reliability of all plant electrical, instrumentation, electronic & analyzer equipment while also maintaining documentation. Maintain records of all saved parameters for relevant equipment (e.g. - VFDs, motor protection relays, weigh feeder controllers…).* Work with Systems Engineer in the programming of Control Systems - especially smaller, remote sub-control systems.* Understand spare parts requirements for all field equipment.* Make recommendations for maintenance requirements for all field equipment.* Comply with all plant safety regulations, paying special attention to electrical safe work practices.* Supervise plant electricians and electrical contractors, as needed.* Generate work order notifications and document the history of completed work orders when finished.* Study, read, and understand field equipment drawings, manuals, and plans to understand operation and aid in problem-solving efforts.* Assist Systems Engineer in understanding, maintenance, troubleshooting, and development within the main control system.EducationElectrical or Mechatronics Engineering.LanguagesEnglish C2Annual salary range from $84,400 to $105,500Argos USA, a Summit Materials CompanyWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
