Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly capable individual to join our team in a critical leadership role within the company. While a Master Electrician/Journeyman Electrician designation is preferred, it is not mandatory. If you are not currentlycertified, we strongly encourage participation in an apprenticeship program to work toward obtaining your Master Electrician license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience in all phases of commercial electrical site work, including trenching, equipment pad installation, transformer pads, and operating site work equipment (excavator, skid steer, lull).
- Ability to lead a small team of installation technicians, coordinating job functions, guiding the team, and ensuring high-quality work.
- Effective communication with utility representatives, building inspectors, electrical inspectors, team members, and company leadership.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding single-line drawings, spec sheets, and installation manuals, and completing take-offs accordingly.
- Efficiently procuring, organizing, and scheduling materials, manpower, and rental equipment.
- Providing consistent, timely project updates, including photo documentation.
- Comfort with or willingness to learn and implement online tools, mobile apps, participate in remote meetings, and manage electronic communication.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong background in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
- Experience with EV Charging Station installations and/or solar installations is a plus.
- Ability to create practical, organized action plans and schedules.
- Willingness to suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Strong work ethic, leadership skills, proactive communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Appreciation for working in a family-run business environment.

Experience and Education:
- 5+ years of commercial site work experience (required)
- 3+ years of commercial electrical experience (required)
- High School diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Electrical license (preferred)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- On-call availability required
