- Electrical Controls Engineer is needed for an on-site, direct-hire role in Columbus, Ohio. ***Candidates must have US Citizenship, minimum bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering, and at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. At least 5 years of related work experience and prior work experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical controls, PLC programming, and power distribution systems.
- In depth understanding of applicable North America electrical codes and industry standards used in equipment design including but not limited to UL, NFPA, NEC and IEC.
- Ability to design electrical circuits and panels for industrial equipment and perform electrical design calculations including those applicable to safety circuit ratings.
The compensation package includes full benefits and a base around $90/k + 25% employer contribution to the ESOP ($90,000+ 22,500 = $112,500). ***if you are interested, please provide a resume and available for an initial phone call.

Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of industrial electrical controls, PLC programming, and power distribution systems.
- In depth understanding of applicable North America electrical codes and industry standards used in equipment design including but not limited to UL, NFPA, NEC and IEC.
- Ability to design electrical circuits and panels for industrial equipment and perform electrical design calculations including those applicable to safety circuit ratings.
- Knowledge of multiple technologies and products applicable to industrial equipment such as PLCs, VFDs, proximity switches, safety devices, and HMIs.
- Experience with Industrial Ethernet Networks.
- PLC programming and application knowledge.
- Allen Bradley PLC's (Studio5000)
- Automation Direct PLC's (Productivity Series)
- HMI platform knowledge and programming capability (Ignition, Lab View, PanelView, C-More)
- SQL Databases and Power BI
- AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical and Autodesk Fusion PLM experience desired
- AutoCAD support certifications preferred
- Familiarity with SAP a plus
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical design principles required.
