**Direct Hire**
Sedona, a local professional recruitment firm, is partnering with a leading local manufacturer seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Technician to join their maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical control systems and equipment and should possess working knowledge of PLCs and comfortable with up to 480v three phase work. This is a direct hire, meaning the right fit candidate would go directly onto the hiring company's payroll and be eligible for their benefits package.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical control systems and instrumentation.
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
+ Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
+ Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces).
+ Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
+ Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
+ Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
+ Utilize and manage Work Order software and other computer applications to support maintenance operations.
+ Capable of running conduit and pulling wire for power distribution and controls integration.
**Qualifications:**
+ Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field (preferred)
+ 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Controls Technician in a manufacturing environment.
+ Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley).
+ Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
+ Experience with HMI programming and configuration.
