About the Role: As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, communications, Electric Vehicle Charging Systems, fire detection and alarm, and building security systems. You'll also contribute to highway and airfield lighting and control systems. Your expertise will be essential in every project phase, from planning and pre-design scoping to construction review and client interaction. Key Responsibilities: Plan and design power distribution, lighting, and communication systems. Develop Electric Vehicle Charging Systems, fire detection and alarm, and security building systems. Work on highway and airfield lighting and control systems. Manage all project phases, including planning, design, specifications, team coordination, construction documents, bidding, and inspection. Position Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required. PE licensure or passing of FE exam preferred. 6 - 10 years of electrical design experience in commercial, industrial and institutional building facilities. Sustainable design experience with LEED accreditation a plus. Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office. Superior organizational and interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team, develop and maintain client relations, meet project demands and schedules.
