Desired Skills & Experience
- A Bachelor's degree is not required, but verifiable technical training, preferably from vocational schools or programs rather than self-guided, is strongly preferred.
- Industry experience of 5+ years. Automation or Controls drafting, and design experience preferred.
- AutoCAD Electrical training, familiarity, and experience is a must. You will be expected from day 1 to be able to operate in this toolset to produce project deliverables for low voltage PLC control panels, under the direction of engineering guidance.
- Preferred experience with ePlan design software.
- Clear communication, both verbal and written is mandatory
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning and organization habits, consistent follow through
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Process control and/or automation experience is preferred
