Job DescriptionWe are currently working with a heavy equipment manufacturing company in Bremer County, IA who is seeking a diversified Electrical Design Engineer. This position will be involved with the creation of design layouts, detail drawings and BOMs for new and existing mobile products. You will need to be able to trouble shoot the program used to control the equipment, provide technical guidance, manufacturing support, and planning assistance on projects, in addition to creating and managing the program criteria for a machine and its consistency between product lines. QUALIFICATIONS: BS Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering is preferred), 3+ years of Electrical system/component engineering experience. Experience with agricultural/mobile equipment is a plus. Specialized professional knowledge of the theory, principals, and practices of mechanical and/or appropriate related field. Experience with programming of mobile equipment using Parker IQAN, Danfoss Plus1, CODESYS. Electrical system circuit design, sizing, layout and analysis. Creation of electrical component specifications. Creation of validation plans, definition of electrical test methods and analysis of test data to ensure robust and accurate performance of electrical system designs. The position is on-site. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S., without current or future requirements for sponsorship of an employment-based visa status.
