Job Summary
As a member of the technical staff, the Electrical Designer is responsible for preparing technical drawings of electrical systems for the design of modular TIAC (Turbine Inlet Air Cooling) Plant, CHP, Mission Critical and District Cooling Plant up to full production. During the design process, the Designer will work closely with the Engineer to compile technical data for the electrical systems, including product features, dimensional information, owner specifications, contract requirements, and electrical characteristics of the distribution system. This Designer will also be responsible for technical coordination of all products currently in production.

Work Environment
Most work is performed in an office environment. Regular trips to our client's fabrication facility for observation and support may be necessary which may require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, steel toed shoes and mandatory head protection.
Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional overtime effort may be requested to meet project specific deadlines.
Travel
Anticipated 20% travel for this position with some overnight stays. Some occasional local day travel may also be necessary.
