Job Description:
The Electrical Division Manager has full responsibility for the Electrical Group. The Division Manager will set the course and outline a plan to grow the revenue and profit base for the group. This will include assessing ourcurrent team and modifying as necessary to attain a successful Division. The Division Manager and his team will be responsible for cost control, forecasting and scheduling multiple projects through final project completion. The Division Manager will report to the COO and coordinate the job team to meet all project goals.Responsibilities:
Organizing a qualified team who can execute submittals, purchase orders, materials contracts and subcontracts, change orders, as-built documents, and to ensure the high quality of all work performed at a job site. Work closely with the Sales Team to optimize projects through Pre-Construction and the Bidding Phase. Manage estimating team qualified to win work in the Industrial Field. Plan, schedule, and maintain timelines by optimizing resources in a fast-paced construction/installation environment. Manage cost, schedule and resource-loaded schedules providing billings, cash flow and manpower forecasting with complete job costing reviews. Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, including assisting in the design and writing the scope of work, management plans, work sequence, safety, and quality control and commissioning. Develop/maintain network of professional relationships within the industry. Some travel required but mostly in the Atlanta area - company vehicle provided.Qualifications: Team leader with proven business skills with minimum 3 years of experience as a Division or Group Leader. Problem solver with excellent communication skills and wants to be in a highly visible role. Experience reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications and applicable code requirements. Proficient in the utilization of various software applications (MS office and estimating software). Experience with contract documents such as contract drawings, specifications, subcontracts, contract addendum and change orders. Electrical construction industry subject matter expert and with customer retention.
