Electrical Drafter & Designer

Contract with the possibility to be hired permanent

(depending on production and need)

100% Onsite working 8 hours per day

Summary

Under direct supervision, develops working drawings within company and industry standards and codes, from equipment specifications and detailed drawings. Incumbents should exhibit a full understanding of the materials and methods normally used and begin to have some basic or elementary exposure to design. Complies with and promotes reliability and safety practices. Comply with HSE and service quality requirements. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined. Will work with Onshore services.

Required

• 4 years Electrical drafting experience, Preferably in Solidworks Electrical, but other programs are fine as well
• Proficient with electrical layouts, cable harness design, and cable management is a plus
• Oil and Gas experience
• Quick learner
• Strong communication

Education

• Associates degree in Electronics Technology, Drafting or similar discipline and 4 years of related drafting experience

OR

• 6 years of recent and related drafting experience
