Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for various projects.
- Review project drawings and make necessary corrections.
- Report drawing corrections and issues to the Engineering Manager and/or President.
- Perform specific duties internal to WV Electric.
- Ensure designs lead to safe, profitable installations that meet customer requirements and schedules.
- Analyze and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and specifications.
- Perform calculations for power distribution, load analysis, and system efficiency.
- Oversee installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and clients to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot system issues as needed.
- Stay updated with advancements in electrical engineering technology and industry best practices.
