Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our dynamic team, working in the water and wastewater industry. This position is fully remote and requires a PE License.ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed electrical power systems design for water and wastewater treatment facilities.Conduct load calculations, detailed conduit routing, motor control center and switchgear design, and specification generation.Provide field investigative and start-up support.Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 820, and NESC standards.Work with minimal supervision by a Senior Level Electrical Engineer (for Mid Level).Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.PE registration required.6 to 12 years of experience in Electrical Engineering for Mid Level; 10-15 years for Senior Level.Familiarity with power system applications, including calculation of available short circuit current, voltage drop, harmonic distortion, and power factor.Proficient in MS Word and Excel.Excellent communication skills.Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting.Ability to interact positively with clients.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with AutoCAD.Familiarity with IEEE color book series.Experience in industrial or large commercial backgrounds is also considered.Work EnvironmentThis position offers flexible work hours from 7 AM to 6 PM. The role involves minimal travel (5-10%), primarily for project deliverables and workshops. You will be part of a team of 45 electrical professionals across the country, working within the larger Electrical Programming Instrumentation and Controls team.
