Title: Electrical Engineer
Work Environment: Office 4 Days a week, remote on Fridays
Location: Manhattan, NY
Top Skills:
3+ Years of experience doing electrical design for building systems such as power distribution, lighting, electrical panels, Generators... etc
Experience utilizing AutoCAD MEP + Revit ( A MUST)
Experience doing load calculation ( A MUST)
would like some experience managing small-medium size projects
Description:
-Conduct engineering calculations, load calculations, equipment selection, energy analysis, psychrometric, controls, fixture loading, pressure loss, ducts sizing, writing specifications, etc.
-Effectively manage time and budget to meet project deliverables and schedules.
-Ability to utilize AutoCAD & Revit to complete drawings
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Calculate power and lighting loads for new and existing building systems.
-Review local and national codes and perform code analyses.
-Design and life safety (fire alarm) systems
-Select and design layout of electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, electrical panels emergency generators UPS systems, and power distribution systems.
