Job Description:
Our executive search firm is currently seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to fill a pivotal role in product development and technical support for a prominent organization in the technology industry. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for guiding products from concept through production, as well as providing essential technical support to address field and production issues. A background in audio circuitry is highly desirable for this position.Position Responsibilities:Analog/Digital Circuit Design: Engage in analog/digital circuit design, prototyping, and performance evaluation to meet both customer and internal specifications.Component Specification: Specify and select electronic components that are crucial to the success of various projects.Schematic Development: Generate schematics, bills-of-material (BOMs), and provide valuable guidance for PCB layout.Product Performance: Evaluate and document product performance to ensure alignment with customer specifications.Technical Sales Support: Provide technical support to sales teams, aiding in the understanding and presentation of product capabilities to customers.Production Test Requirements: Determine the production test requirements necessary to ensure product quality.Test Equipment Automation: Collaborate with Production to automate test equipment as needed to streamline processes.Ongoing Product Support: Offer ongoing support for existing products, ensuring they continue to meet performance standards.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with various departments, including Mechanical Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Sales.Engineering Documentation: Maintain essential engineering documentation, including schematics, BOMs, Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), drawings, and layouts.Additional Duties: Assist with any other related duties as required or assigned by the organization.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree.A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in concept-through-production product development.Experience in audio and analog circuit design, including OpAmps, Filters, Transistor Circuitry, Codecs, Power Supplies, etc.Proficiency in digital and microprocessor circuit design.Familiarity with schematic entry, with experience in Altium being a plus.Some embedded coding experience is advantageous.Knowledge of EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and Intrinsically Safe (UL, ATEX, FM) circuit design is a beneficial asset.Competency in using Microsoft Office Tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Self-motivated and proactive with effective time management skills.Ability to effectively schedule work, communicate issues, and provide status updates in a timely manner.Strong multitasking abilities in a dynamic and time-sensitive environment.Attention to detail, a results-oriented problem solver, and a critical thinker.Ability to work effectively both as an individual contributor and in collaborative team projects.Strong oral and written communication skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
