Job Description•Must be able to translate a customer problem into an electrical design solution•Ensure designs and solutions consider overall costs and that the most efficient design/solution will be offered to the customer•Must use the PDP process effective to achieve a flawless launch of products•Must take ownership of project timing, and work to achieve deadlines and gate reviews. Timing issues must be communicated and transparent to the organization•Must work in collaboration with the sales engineers to meet the needs of the customer•Develop, implement and maintain electrical best practices with electrical design•Validate new designs for effectiveness•Delivery projects on-time/cost/quality.The key behaviors / skills required for this role are:•Creativity•Understand and use the PDP process effectively•Attention to detail•Ownership•Strong interpersonal and communications skills•Effective team player•Identify areas of risk, communicate and provide transparency•Drive continuous improvementsEducation required for this role:•BS in Electrical Engineering preferred; company will consider a combination of education and experience•Proficient in Microsoft Office applications•3D CAD/ SolidWorks preferred
