We truly value passionate and down-to-earth people who are driven to get things done and find creative solutions to problems.PRIMARY FUNCTION: To design, document, and occasionally trouble shoot electrical control, signaling and power circuits for manufacture of generators and similar industrial power units according to NEC and UL standards. Secondarily, to design, document and occasionally evaluate mechanical systems in support of, or in conjunction with electrical system. ENGINEERING JOB FUNCTIONSFocus on Engineering design for production .Hands-on use of software including AutoCad Electrical and Inventor ProfessionalSupport production in fabrication and machining, estimating & procurement.Strategic business developmentWork with Customers, Sales team, and production team to ensure product is finished to the highest quality possible in a timely mannerDevelop projects from conceptual design to full manufacturing capabilityPromote and Develop Engine sales to other ManufacturersDevelop ideas for new products to manufactureAny other tasks as assigned by ManagerQualificationsQUALIFICATIONS Required, Bachelor's degree in a similar field.Required, Excellent verbal and written communication.Required, Proactive thinking.Desired, 1 - 3 years related experience.Desired, Experience with Autodesk software, including AutoCad and Inventor.Desired, Practical experience with industrial control and power wiring.WORK CONDITIONSCentral Power Systems & Services is a company that thrives on teamwork.
