About the job Electrical Engineer We have partnered with a global industrial electrical manufacturing company in Littleton, CO area to provide them with an Electrical Engineer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested. Prioritized must haves for the Electrical Engineer: #1. Must have utility/power plant experience.#2. Must be able to travel 30% throughout the US.#3. No more than three jobs in the last ten years. Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer:Perform, program, and test for relay protectionAssist with maintenance and testing of generator excitation systems, protective relays, and other auxiliary equipment.Assist with electrical modeling for NERC PRC and MOD studiesParticipate in educational activities.Write trip reports that describe, in detail, the system and device failure and actions taken. Review the system problem and solution with the Design Engineering group.Travel to customer sites to perform system startup or required maintenance, provide instructions for customer installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment.This position requires 30% travel throughout the US. The remaining office time is focused on engineering analysis and design.Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements of the Electrical Engineer:B.S.E.E. degree or equivalent.Prefer candidates interested in utility/power plant experience and an Electrical Engineering degree. Experience with PSS/e, SKM, ETAP, and/or EASYPOWER is preferredTravel to customer sites to perform relay commissioning, startup or required maintenance, provide instructions for customer installation, maintenance, or repair equipment.Proficient computer skills.
