The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and a passion for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and solutions for various projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development:
- Develop electrical system designs and specifications for a range of projects, including commercial, industrial, and residential developments.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and documentation.
- Project Management:
- Manage and oversee electrical engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Technical Analysis:
- Conduct technical analyses, calculations, and simulations to ensure the feasibility and performance of electrical systems.
- Evaluate and select appropriate electrical equipment, materials, and technologies.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure all designs and installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to verify compliance and quality of electrical installations.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, civil engineers, and architects, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide technical guidance and support.
- Innovation and Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement within projects and the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Proven experience in electrical engineering design, project management, and implementation.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP).
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEEE).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
