Your Contribution

Planning - Prepares project estimates, cost reports, schedules, budgets for the electrical engineering and maintenance functions. Supports the development of investment plans for production equipment, physical plant and infrastructure.

Design and Development - Supports activities to develop, design, and construct process machinery and equipment. Supports activities regarding new construction and modification of the physical plant and infrastructure. Keeps informed about new technical developments. Submits proposals for improvement of the physical plant, infrastructure, machinery, and equipment. Recommends the introduction of new procedures as well as the purchase and use of new infrastructure, machinery, and equipment.

Maintenance and Repair - Directs continuous electrical and electronic maintenance of physical plant, infrastructure, process machinery and equipment. Plans and conducts special examinations of machinery, equipment, and processes to determine the causes of failures and implement corrective actions. Plans and coordinates both internal trades labor and external contractors in the completion of electrical installation, repair, and preventative maintenance tasks. Plans and coordinates the electrical preventative maintenance program for process machinery, equipment, and physical plant infrastructure.

IMSU - Responsible to ensure that his or her employees are aware of and follow established policies, select employees who are properly qualified and trained and set an example for his or her employees by actively participating in improving safety and the environment.

Supervisory Duties - Supervises, leads, supports and motivates the employees in his/her areas (electronics shop, electrical shop) of responsibility, i.e. performance appraisals, succession planning, personnel development, and training measures.

Hazardous Waste - Responsible to ensure that they only utilize employees trained in hazardous waste to perform the following duties and overseeing their employees in the activities: hazardous waste activities include adding hazardous waste to accumulation containers, removing waste from accumulation containers, transporting hazardous waste to or from accumulation points, daily inspection of satellite hazardous waste accumulation areas, cleanup of small spills of hazardous waste.

Your Profile
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • 5 Years experience in Electrical/Electronic equipment design, installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance, plus supervisory experience
  • Project Planning and Scheduling, CAD, Power Study Software (SKM), PLC Programming
