This company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their growing organization. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining all facets of the company's controls and electrical system at their Cambridge OH facility.In this role they will need you to comply with all safety and environmental policies and procedures as well as company's Code of Business Conduct and OSHA safety standards. They need someone with leadership experience to supervise engineering technicians. You will also be responsible for maintaining plant electrical distribution infrastructure and equipment upgrades and for plant process control equipment and facility upgrades.They will look to you to recommend, plan, and implement capital projects from start to finish to achieve optimum plant performance and reliability while minimizing power costs.You will also support maintenance department through technical consultation and troubleshooting/problem solving and serve as liaison with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and insurance representatives. One of your key responsibilities will be to manage the Arc Furnace. They do not have a lot of PLCs at this facility, but any ladder logic knowledge would be helpful for the ones they have.What they need is someone with experience on high power switchgear who can troubleshoot and repair high end electrical power systems when the maintenance team is struggling to produce a solution.You will need to show you have experience with equipment testing and troubleshooting, installation and setup of electrical equipment. Any experience in development and implementation of process improvements that increase plant reliability, productivity, capacity, quality, and efficiency will be beneficial. You will also need strong leadership, interpersonal, and facilitation skills and be a critical thinker and problem solver.This is a Monday - Friday day shift role that is on call for backup support for the maintenance department and outages.Base + discretionary bonus based on company and personal performance that could be $25 - $30K. 401k with match.
