LHH Recruitment Solutions has an Electrical Engineer opening for our client in the Boston, MA area. This direct hire hybrid role focuses on projects including project leadership, planning, designing and post design for a broad spectrum of facilities projects including but not limited to transit terminals, maintenance facilities, municipalities buildings, public work facilities, correctional facilities, educational surroundings and commercial settings.

PE IS REQUIRED. Successful candidates will also have 5-10 years' experience in dealing with civil infrastructure power, lighting and fire alarm systems, conducting short circuit analysis, and highly experienced in Arc Flash Analysis. Revit and AutoCAD proven proficiencies, compiling reporting and data, and experience in writing proposals also required. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years' experience with a BS in Electrical Engineering.

Salary range: $73,000 to $95,000 DOE.

Responsibilities:

Consistent means to acknowledge and improve processes and systems.

Accountable for creation, development, production of and testing measures of electrical systems.

Design, implement and budget for projects and system improvements.

Communicate thoroughly, on time, and in full to management to represent the organization professionally.

Develop designs utilizing Revit and/or AutoCAD.

Design systems for power, lighting, and fire alarm systems.

Define and set priorities and duties for team implementation.

Specify and size electrical equipment, systems, etc.

Perform calculations as needed.

Short circuit analysis

Protective device coordination studies

Arc Flash Analysis

Utilization of Micro Office Suite for reporting

Development of proposals

Mentoring

Assist other engineers on projects as needed.

Requirements:

• degree in Electrical Engineering
• mandatory
• 5 years relevant experience.

• have experience in data analysis, problem solving as well as design thinking driven.
• have 5 years minimum of management experience leading a team of engineers.
