Senior Electrical Engineer MEP ($90K-$120K)Your new company: Top engineering firm with over 30 years of experience and more than 5,000 successful projects across various markets, including labs, aviation, commercial, higher education, hospitals, K-12, laboratories, residential, and street lighting. Our firm is renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation in engineering solutions. Your new role: As an Electrical Engineer/Senior Electrical Engineer, you will design, develop, and test electrical products and systems for various applications, such as power generation, transmission, distribution, lighting, control, communication, and automation. You will:
- Be able to use design software like AutoCAD to create schematics, layouts, diagrams, and documentation; conduct research, analysis, and troubleshooting to solve electrical problems and improve existing products and processes.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for electrical projects and proposals, ensuring compliance with relevant engineering codes, standards, and regulations.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as an electrical engineer in a similar industry or environment.
- Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools like AutoCAD or REVIT.
- Willingness to occasionally travel to Cohoes/Troy.
- PE or EIT certification is a plus.
