LHH Recruitment Solutions has a energy storage systems Electrical Engineer for our client in the Edison, NJ area. This direct hire role focuses on design and development of BESS projects including updates to existing materials. This hands on, on-site role delves into product validation, hardware development, pre-certification testing, and firmware development, along with PCB design and troubleshooting, knowledge of design software and extensive experience in embedded programming.
This role will be responsible for microcontroller controls, analog front end and electrical isolation designs and development, presentations to management and management of projects from start to finish. Some travel may be required to client facilities for oversight of implementation and any issues resolution. This position will also require a proven experience in interacting with UL and FCC standards. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years' experience with a BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. Responsibilities:
- Consistent means to acknowledge and improve processes and systems.
- Accountable for creation, development, production of and testing measures of MCU embedded Systems.
- Design, implement and budget for projects and system improvements.

- Design and development of circuitry board layout with analog signals and clearances for high voltage.
- Define and set priorities and duties for team implementation.

- Creation and implementation of any special projects designed to increase and better performance management.
- Define performance management in several key areas to drive effective, cost effective and data backed decision.
- Determine escalation needs of issues that arise with Asset Management and Operations Teams as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
- Minimum of 5 years in electronics engineering of embedded systems, EMC design and EMI issues.
- Must have experience in data analysis, problem solving as well as design thinking driven.
