Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to become a part of our team! You will prepare detailed schematics and control schemes for power distribution equipment as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities

* Operate independently on assigned projects.

* Design electrical systems based on customer requirements.

* Create electrical schematics and sub-panel layouts.

* Provide electrical engineering support for testing and production floor.

* Design building utility circuits.

* Meet with customers, suppliers and OEMs.

* Coordinate with the mechanical engineering department for panel and door layouts, and conduit, wireway and cable tray runs.

* Check electrical packages.

* Provide technical direction for prototype builds, and initial builds as required

* Provide project management guidance on all electrical engineering aspects of a project

* Create and validate Bills of Materials and drawings for customer submittal and manufacturing.

Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree in electrical engineering or in electrical engineering technology.

* Solid understanding of one line, three line, control schematics, point to point drawings.

* Familiarity with power distribution and substation controls (three phase systems, relays, transformers, control switches, etc.).

* Familiarity with SolidWorks Electrical or other CAD software

* Knowledge in NEC, IEEE, ANSI codes.

* Desired Knowledge of Electro-Mechanical Switchgear

* Deadline and detail-oriented
