The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, assessing, and overseeing electrical systems and components. The Electrical Engineer will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects meet specifications, codes, and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test electrical equipment and systems for a variety of applications.
- Prepare technical reports and project documentation, including specifications, schematics, and testing plans.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new projects and designs.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and controls.
- Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers, and other team members to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical malfunctions and issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field (master's degree preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in specific industry, e.g., construction, manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other electrical design tools.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Salary Range: $80,000 -$92,000 and Bonus Potential
