JOB DESCRIPTIONIf you are an Electrical Design Engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an opening for you! You will lead and participate in teams designing world-class Pressure and Temperature field instruments. Our products deliver highly accurate pressure and temperature measurements with unmatched reliability to help customers in a variety of industries. In this role you will get to work with engineers from multiple global sites and leverage their combined knowledge to achieve the program objectives.In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Assist and/or lead new product development activities (e.g., circuit design, peer reviews, product qualification planning and product qualification testing).
  • Research and develop new ideas and technologies for implementation into our products.
  • Monitor and optimize new product development processes to ensure company quality standards are upheld and implemented.
  • Prepare detailed plans, generally spanning several months, necessary to complete assigned projects. Identify assistance needed by other functional groups to complete engineering tasks.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary and cross-functional local and global development teams through product definition processes, which may include system/product architecture, system requirements and detailed design requirements.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an engineering school
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position
  • Ability to occasionally meet with global team members during off hours
  • Experience with low power electronics design
  • Experience working with test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, arb waveform generators, power supplies, multimeters)
  • Ability to travel
