Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, high performing, skilled Electrical Engineer to join our firm. Candidates will have the opportunity to work with a multi-discipline team of professionals to complete engaging projects. The Electrical Engineer plays a significant role in the entire design process including, but not limited to, preliminary assessments, concept creation, design, drawing and specification production, and customer and vendor interaction. Candidate must be well organized with the ability to juggle priorities for multiple project deadlines; with the ability to work independently and as a team member of the firm.

Position Responsibilities:

- Technical analysis and design of power supply and distribution, emergency power, lighting, fire alarm systems, etc. for various building types.

- Assist in preparing engineering studies and schematic design for new systems and analyze operation of existing systems.

- Preparation of design documents including Revit and AutoCAD drawings and specifications for construction.

- Site visits to identify existing equipment and clearances for new work.

- Organize design work with related engineering disciplines.

- Coordination with Engineers, Architects, and Owners.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, preferably on track to obtaining a PE License.

- Training and experience using AutoCAD required, proficiency in Revit desired.

- Proficiency in relevant software and office systems including Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam preferred.

- Strong oral and written communication skills and leadership abilities to provide quality client service as a member of the project design team.

- Self-motivated problem solver.
