Location: Schenectady,NY, USA
Electrical Engineer - 18 month contract
Responsibilities and/or Tasks to be Performed:
- Coordinate with global engineering in the creation/loading/approvals/release of PLM deliverables
- Drive and Track PLM Manufacturing Deliverables (ordering specifications)
- Coordinate with vendors on timely review/approvals of project deliverables.
Technical Requirements
- Strong computer skills a must
- Knowledge of MS tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) AutoCAD Electrical/Smartsheet a plus
- Familiar with PLM (Siemens Team Center a plus)
- Familiar with PLM Bill of Materials is desirable
Educational Requirements
- BS in a technical field or 3-4 years' experience in the engineering field
- Strong work ethics, takes ownership and accountability of work output
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in project organization with successful experience communicating with cross functional teams, external teams and management
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and strong problem solving skills
Amount of business travel: No Travel
Typical Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
