Job Description:

Currently looking for an Experienced Electrical Engineer in Multiple Areas including Charlotte, NC Baltimore, MD DC Metro Area and Richmond, VA. Our client will assist in relocating candidates as well our client is a Large Engineering frim. As a Sr Electrical Engineer you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for a variety of projects. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that our projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop electrical systems for Civil and Structural Design projects, power distribution, MEP projects, and other related fields. Prepare and review electrical design documents, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings. Conduct electrical load calculations, system sizing, and analysis. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and contractors to ensure integrated project delivery. Perform site inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards. Provide technical support and guidance during construction, commissioning, and maintenance phases. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and technical reports. Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations. Mentor and support junior engineers and interns. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. PE license or actively pursuing PE licensure; candidates with EIT certification are preferred. Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in Civil / Structural Engineering , Power Distribution or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) firms. Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, or similar tools. Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
