Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to do PCB Design - with knowledge of Ethernet protocols. This has the potential to go from short-term contract to full-time.

Position Overview:

As an Electronics Engineer, you will play a key role in redesigning and enhancing electronic systems, focusing on integrating Internet connectivity into our encoder reader products. Your expertise in PCB design, schematic creation, and Ethernet/Internet protocols will be critical in ensuring seamless communication and robust functionality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• PCB and Schematic Design: Redesign, develop, and test PCBs to integrate Ethernet/Internet communication capabilities.

• Interface Development: Design and implement interfaces to enable seamless communication between the board and external Internet systems.

• Circuit Design: Develop and optimize electronic circuits to support new functionalities.

• Protocol Integration: Apply expertise in Ethernet and Internet protocols to ensure reliable connectivity and data transfer.

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including firmware engineers and product designers, to deliver innovative solutions.

• Prototyping and Testing: Build and test prototypes, troubleshoot design issues, and refine products for production readiness.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field (required).

• Experience: Minimum of [5-7 years] of hands-on experience in PCB design, schematic design, and electronics development (recent graduates or technicians will not be considered).

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, or similar).

• Strong knowledge of Ethernet and Internet communication protocols.

• Experience designing electronic interfaces and integrating communication technologies into hardware.

• Problem-solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for electronic systems.

• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with teams and document technical processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers.

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and DFM/DFT principles.

• Knowledge of encoder or sensor systems is a plus.
