Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer:
Develop and maintain design standards for electrical, lighting, and control systems
Coordinate with external consultants to ensure consistent, high-quality designs
Oversee the commissioning program, collaborating with third-party consultants to uphold standards
Conduct quality control reviews and ensure designs adhere to established guidelines
Evaluate existing systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions
Collaborate with various teams to deliver integrated, energy-saving strategies and ensure seamless equipment procurement and installation
Provide construction administration services, including addressing queries and documenting on-site conditions
Electrical Engineer Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Electrical Design
5+ years of experience in building electrical system design, with some experience in commissioning and energy standards
General knowledge in site investigations
Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, low voltage design, and industry codes
Project management and construction administration experience is a plus
Familiarity with REVIT MEP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and lighting design software is a plus
Experience with short circuit analysis tools such as SKM Systems Analysis is a plus
