Position Overview:

As part of the talented Navico Group - Power Systems team, you will support a wide portfolio of marine and RV electrical products. You will resolve product issues, work on product improvements, and support product development.

Essential Functions:

* You will focus on the continuous improvement of a broad range of electrical products throughout their life cycle.

* You will perform root cause analysis of any electrical product failures, propose corrective actions, and concisely document your findings.

* You will be expected to work and collaborate with others across global teams encompassing engineering, marketing, sourcing, production, quality, and product support.

* You will review product improvement proposals, develop electrical test plans, and perform testing to ensure that the proposed changes are sound in design and thoroughly tested before being implemented.

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree - Electrical Engineering

* Minimum 5 years related experience

* Proficient in the use of Altium Designer (preferred) or Cadence OrCAD PCB design software

* Must be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electronic schematics

* Proficient user of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint,Teams, etc.)

* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with marine electrical products.

* Experience working with a global cross functional team.

* Able to troubleshoot electrical systems and products to the PCBA board level.

* Understands embedded systems and device programming.

* Experience with soldering, PCBA re-work, and circuit modifications.

* Familiar with the safe use of standard electrical test equipment such as:

* Digital multimeters and current probes

* Benchtop power supplies

* Oscilloscopes

* Knowledge of AC (125/250 VAC) and DC battery (12/24 VDC) power distribution.

Working Conditions:

* Hybrid office environment. Two to three days required in the office.

* Electrical test lab

* Travel 5% or less
