CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Electrical Engineering Designer II to join our Power & Manufacturing - Advanced Energy & Manufacturing Team at our Fort Washington, PA office.

The Electrical Engineering Designer II assists with the research, preparation, and creation of various types of contract or construction drawings and documents. At CHA, our Electrical Engineering Designer II collaborates with design teams on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements.
The Electrical Engineering Designer II develops the ability to independently establish simple or routine contract drawings. This professional in this role attains knowledge of the engineering discipline standards, codes, and systems through assisting with contract document preparation, and examines contract documents or drawings for errors. This individual uses drawing production software (REVIT, AutoCAD, MicroStation etc.) to create construction documents.

REQUIREMENTS
* Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering Science or related technical field is required
* A minimum of 2 years' experience of document production experience in the related engineering discipline
* Proficient with discipline-based software (REVIT, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
* Demonstrates a good working knowledge about the respective engineering discipline
* Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
* Strong work ethic and desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist senior staff
SALARY RANGE:
$28.84 - $36.05
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
