Job Summary The Electrical Field Installation Coordinator will be responsible for involvement in multiple projects overseeing the electrical installations of industrial material handling systems controlled by Kasa. This individual will make regular visits from jobsite to jobsite to confirm that our electrical subcontractors are performing to the highest standards and that all electrical designs are in compliance with project scope, customer specifications and NEC standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Review, confirm, and execute electrical installation proposals for multiple projects.
- Make regular site visits to confirm the performance of electrical subcontractors.
- Ensure that all electrical designs are in compliance with NEC and Customer standards.
- Electrical installation oversight including material coordination and internal Kasa site manpower scheduling.
- Tracks/updates contract modifications or change orders as necessary.
- Ensure crews have resources and support.
- Manages site work and logistics efficiently, providing suggestions for improvement.
- Builds a relationship with the internal and external customer.
- Communicate project progress and updates to the Project Manager
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and successful completion of projects.
- Attends internal kickoff meetings, customer meetings/conference calls and pre-bid meetings as needed.
- Helps identify partnership needs, builds vendor relationships, and participates in subcontractor performance management.
- Owns or collaborates on project open issues lists.

Training Required - OSHA 30 Safety Training
- Completes Industrial Safety and lock out/tag out.
- Completes company LEAN training and participates in Kaizen events as needed.
- Understands Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements and how it applies to this position as determined by ISO 9001 and to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Completes Kasa Process Manual training.
- Completes UL508A Level 1 training.
- Completes UL508A level 2 training.
- Completes Kasa leadership training.
Education & Experience - High School diploma/GED required.
- Degree from an accredited college or university; or two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Associates or bachelor's degree in related management or technical field or completion of IBEW/UAW or comparable apprenticeship program preferred.
- 5+ Years of electrical system installation and/or commissioning
- Experience in electrical project management and/or installation coordination.
- Experience in technical field related to industrial systems and processes preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
Additional Qualifications - Journeyman or Masters Electrician License from any US State
- Knowledge of NEC standards and electrical design principles
- Knowledge of Classified/Protected Areas relating to electrical design requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with FIC functions and electrical installation.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions, either written or verbal, diagram or schedule.
- Maintains an acceptable driving record (MVR).
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers and subordinates in a one-on-one and/or group setting.

Work Environment This position operates in an office and job site setting. It routinely requires using standard office equipment, such as computer, phones, copiers, etc. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm but are project work dependent. Regular evenings and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel is required. Start-ups or job site setting hours will vary based on project and location. On-site startup and commissioning of systems. may involve 10 to 12+ hour shifts per day as required to meet specific start-up schedules.
Physical Demands Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to occasionally climb permanent and temporary stairs, climb ladders, negotiate work areas under construction, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Regularly requires use of construction personnel hoists. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Performing this job regularly requires use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, sit, talk, hear, stand. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move heavy weight. Employee must be capable of using tools, and able to help install equipment and make adjustments/modifications to that equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee works on-site at the construction worksite where the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in this work environment can be moderate to very loud.
