Electrical ForemanOur Employee-Ownedcompany has immediate full-time openings for an Electrical Foreman in theSoutheast. This position will work within Industrial, Commercial,Healthcare, and Federal businesses and be part of an amazing and GROWINGteam! All positions are regular, full-time andbenefits eligible. Pay range depending on experience, skills, and knowledge.This position requires a decisive leader with a passion for hands-on workin outdoor environments and a strong drive for safely performing constructionproject management work. Must have a desire to work in a team-based environmentand contribute quickly.ROLE, FUNCTION & ORGANIZATIONSchedules, coordinates, and supervises field employees assigned toelectrical construction or service projects. May work in cooperation with othertrades persons to ensure that all specifications, regulations, and policies aremet, and ensure efficient completion of any project in accordance with allstandards of building codes and safety.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupervision/LeadershipProduction ControlCommunicationCost ControlWaste EliminationCustomer SatisfactionSafety/Hazard Recognition & EliminationQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma/equivalent required; technical degree preferred.Equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience cansubstitute.Minimum of 3-5 years of electrical construction experience, preferably ina supervisory capacity.Positive safety attitude and personal integrity.Valid driver's license and insured personal transportation required.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESWorking knowledge of various construction disciplines, contractdocuments, cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, engineering drawingsand other documents.Analytical thought process to troubleshoot and resolve difficultproblems.Ability to effectively supervise and evaluate craft performance.Capable of managing and leading electrical crews.Overtime and/or long hours may be required.Travel for projects as required.MetroPower is an Equal Opportunity Employer- Minority/Disabled/Veterans/Females are encouraged to apply.
