As an Electrical Foreman, you will lead a team of electricians, ensuring that all installations, maintenance, and repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will be responsible for managing job sites, coordinating with clients, and maintaining clear communication with office personnel to ensure the successful completion of each project.   • Project Leadership: Oversee electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of electricians, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring that safety protocols are strictly followed.
  • On-Site Supervision: Supervise daily operations on job sites, ensuring quality control, adherence to project plans, and effective coordination with other trades.
  • Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot electrical issues on-site and provide hands-on assistance when necessary to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of work performed, including materials used, labor hours, and any project changes.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all work adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes, as well as company policies and safety standards.
  • Emergency Services: Lead emergency service teams when required, providing 24/7 electrical support to clients in urgent need of power restoration or repairs.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including fire alarms, low voltage installations, and industrial electrical services.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience leading a team of electricians, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Safety-Oriented: Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety protocols, and best practices for job site safety.
  • Technology Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project documentation.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license required; ability to travel to job sites across the five boroughs.
  • OSHA Training: Completion of a minimum of 62 hours of OSHA-certified safety training is required.
