Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of electricians and laborers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship. Project Oversight: Oversee electrical installations, including wiring, lighting, and power distribution, ensuring compliance with project specifications and electrical codes. Scheduling: Develop and manage daily work schedules for the electrical team, coordinating with other trades to optimize workflow. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to promote a safe work environment. Quality Control: Monitor the quality of electrical work and materials, addressing any deficiencies or issues that arise on-site. Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the electrical team and project management, providing updates on progress, challenges, and any changes required. Material Management: Ensure that all materials and tools are available and properly maintained, reporting any shortages or equipment issues. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively to minimize delays and maintain project timelines. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time sheets, daily reports, and change orders. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in electrical systems or construction management is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices in electrical installation. Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings is essential. Certifications: Valid electrical license or certification preferred.
