Requirements
- Minimum six (6) years of constructions experience in industrial Electrical work with two (2) years electrical leadership experience is preferred
- Good management and organizational skills as well as excellent communication skills.
- Extensive electrical knowledge.
- Coordinate with other trades.
- Ability to meet schedules, multi task and complete project task.
- Code/OSHA knowledge.
- Ability to manage safety, quality, cost and delivery of work.
- Candidate must be familiar with NFPA 70 (NEC) and NFPA 70E (Arc Flash).
Essential Functions
- Interprets drawings and specifications and helps in identifying deviations
- Identifying and reconcile (with Superintendent) changes in a timely manner.
- Understand and ensure compliance with the Quality Assurance/Quality Control inspection plans and procedures
- Supervise and coordinate all electrical activities and coordinate three week look ahead using current drawings, specifications and codes (NEC, Arc Flash, etc.)
- Directs workers engaged in all Electrical activities of construction
- Ensures work is completed satisfactorily according to contract schedule.
- Maintain a personal daily log of events, progress, problems, issues and delays/impacts
- Maintain PTP's of all work completed and completion of “Action Items” generated by the supervisor
- Complete and submit all required daily reports, timesheets, equipment logs, etc.
- Maintain a good working relationship and communication with all other supervisors and disciplining foremen to optimize resources (labor, material, equipment and subcontractors)
- Evaluate craftsmen including ensuring all assigned duties are performed competently to achieve project objectives
- Assist in planning Electrical procedures
- Meet with Supervisor and Quality Control to optimize work
- Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship is conforming to specifications
- Ensure Electrical work conforms to standards and specifications
- Demonstrate personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment by following and comply with Health, Safety & Environmental Regulations, Corporate Health, Safety & Environmental Policy and applying Company's Safety Management Systems.
- Assist in ensuring the proper closeout of project including transmittal of final documentation to client
