Preparation, finishing and other general support tasks are also required. Electrical aptitude, ability to learn, flexibility and dependability are all essential.Job Responsibilities:Level IElectricianField wire, terminate, troubleshootReading, understanding, and correcting electrical schematicsInstalling electrical componentsInstallation and termination of wires and cablesInstallation and connection of pneumatic componentsPrinting and Installation of labels and tagsCutting and preparing material for assemblyCollecting and organizing components neededOrganization and cleanup of work areasUnderstand the build processInitial machine and component power-upFuse, input and output (I/O) checksTroubleshoot and debug (power on)Use test and diagnostic instruments such as digital multi-metersIdentify issues and work with Engineering for resolution (Redlines)Solder outlets, connectors, wires, etc.Assist with Mechanical Assembly as neededMechanical AssemblerBuild/assemble subassembliesInstall subassemblies into main assemblyCutting and preparing material for assemblyCollecting and organizing componentsFollow build procedures and best practicesIdentify and communicate build issuesUse power tools in a safe and responsible mannerDisassemble machines and prepare to shipMaintain a clean working areaIdentify potential design issues and offer solutionsBasic operation of tool room equipment (lathe, mill, drill press, etc.)Build/assemble critical subassemblies (requires more attention to detail, precision)Assume Build Lead responsibility on specific machine buildsTeach/train new hires/contractorsRun cables and field wireLabel cables and I/OHelps to develop best practices and build proceduresSupport Field Service through consultation and/or travelLevel IIProficient in all of Level I responsibilities as well as:ElectricianSetup hardware configurationLoad program to PLCSetup Robot and programAssist Engineering with hardware designTrain other employees as requiredProvide written and verbal support to Field ServiceAssist Machine Qualification Operators, Engineering and others during machine qualification/inspection process and root cause analysis activitiesMechanical AssemblerWork with Engineering on development of subassembliesParticipate as an active member of design reviewsAdditional ResponsibilitiesProvide Logistics support (shipping, receiving, inventory mgmt. as required)Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):Strong industrial electrical experience and aptitude.Ability to learn and progress.Punctuality and dependability.Attention to details.Ability to routinely lift, bend, climb ladders, balanceAbility to move and carry items that are sometimes heavy.Have Strong Communication SkillsWork effectively in a team environmentSelf-starter. Ability to identify and execute next stepPreferred Education/Training/Experience:High School Diploma or GEDExperience electrician on industrial Manufacturing equipment.Experience in: High Voltage (3-Phase 480VAC), Low Voltage, Servo Motors, Running and dressing wires and cables and Electrical Trouble Shooting.Forklift licenseComputer Skills:Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)OutlookInternet/IntranetCAD/Draft SightSAPTravel Requirements:Travel to customers / trade shows may be required
